Blessed? I worked hard to get a job at a good company, not "blessed" as you put it, I also chose the right industry to go into.

    But thanks for the links.

No offence intended fella, just saying that you were more fortunate than most with your starting wage. I chose a field I thought was in demand, and grafted my arse off, didn't manage to do as well as you

Out of curiosity, what did you graduate in?

Aerospace engineering from Manchester Uni, but I'm working as a structural engineer for oil and gas contractors and operators.

/edit:- sorry if my post seemed snappy, seen too many people tell me "oh you must be lucky to choose a career worth doing" and kinda sick of it now lol

    you brainy fucker ;)

My first "full time" job after graduating was utter shite. If I'd gone full time at my part time job (HMV) I would have made more money.
It did open all of the doors since, so I can't complain too much. The irony? I'm working for the same company now on treble the wage :)

So do EU nationals who study in Scotland it is the English, Taffs & Norf Paddies who have to pay. As Eu citizens have to dealt with as locals. Tbf the Taff Assembly has said they will make sure no sheepshagger will pay more than £3K for any student who leaves the valleys to study elsewhere.

Phil Shiner (Public Interest Lawyers) is looking to sue the arse out of the jock government, I hope he gives them a bigger thrashing than Braveheart got.
