they have changed things. they have put the unfairness of the system on the agenda in a way it wasn't before. They are not going to change the whole power structure simply by protesting though. no one can. people only give up power when it is taken from them not when the poor folks just ask nicely

I think the only thing they have done is block the entrance to St Pauls. I was laughing at the coverage it on the bbc news last night. They interviewed a few folks, all your typical hippy types. I reckon they went direct to St Pauls from Dale Farm

There was loads of rucks in NCL on Saturday. Weatherspoons went up when right wing movements SDL/EDL/NEI* had a battle with Newcastle Gremlins. I very much doubt it was NF as they are very rarely seen these days. It would suit the EDL hierarchy if it was associates of the NF rather than people with connections to the EDL as the Occupy mob had contacted EDL area commanders after a headhunting incident to explain what Occupy was about & they agreed there was common ground between Occupy & EDL & the message would get passed around.
