The PL has gone mad. Wigan and Villa won at the weekend dragging all teams in the bottom half into the mix. NUFC and SAFC looking most at risk currently.... Who will go down? You decide!
I wish it was 10pm Tuesday night so I'd know if the mackems had picked up anything tonight and similarly Wigan on Tuesday. I fear the worst.
Wigan are going to pull a great escape off. They always seem to do it. I reckon it's between us and the mackems...
That was a good point for Sunderland - they looked in real trouble at half-time. Good effort to come back. Wonder what will happen tonight - are Wigan going to be thinking about the FA Cup at the weekend or are they going to win?
gardiner is a liability...there's talk of appealing his ban and asking for it to be extended to 6 matches.
proper squeaky bum time at the bottom now... 7 teams within reach of the drop (mathematically anyway).
If Wigan had won you lot would have been equally in the shit, which you still are anyway. This weekend is going to be painful....
hahahaha..it's funny how we're taking some sort of higher ground, but on the same point..amazing bantz..hahahaha. has there every been a finish to the season like this, where so many teams could go down?
I know but the humour comes from SAFC were in turmoil from day with a Manager that failed. Yet NUFC had the Manager of the Season and were aiming for the Champions League. You do the maths and work out the biggest failures (of the failures) this year.
Forever trying to poilish a turd.... You's lot are shite, we are shite, the whole season has been shite. Pointless saying, "you've been a bigger failure than us" because we've both been equally as bad. A team failing under O'Neill compared to a team failing under Pardew, I would say the former was the more surprising of the 2.
you have been a bigger failure than us james and for the reasons that congay mentioned...after pardew being awarded "manager of the year" and you lot finishing where you did, with the squad you had - at least maintaining that and possibly building on it, was top of the agenda...you can't deny that?
I'm not denying it's been a shite season, of course it has, but surely given O'Neill's previous track record you should have expected more??? Every manager is surely allowed a bad season. Look at Moyes at Everton, finished 7th (or thereabouts) then 17th the next season. Sound familiar? What gets me is certain deluded Mackems on here who refuse to acknowledge their team has been shite, their season has been shite but spend their whole time pointing the same thing out about NUFC. 80% of posts are about his own teams rivals, as if his team is some all-conquering championship winning world-beaters. Some people just can't see what's right in front of them.
me? i had hopes but wasn't chomping at the bit...as i've said, i thought he'd been out of the game for too long and i may have been right in thinking that way.. i think moyes has a lot more in his arsenal that pardew..do you believe that pardew has enough about him, to get you to the type of finish you had last season? i think you've said yourself that you've lost all confidence in him? nowt like a good wind up! WE'RE BACK!
