This may be old news to some but is anyone on Three with the all-you-can-eat data?. I'm paying £22.15 p/m for 10mb (usually clocked at 9) from Virgin with a pretty shit fair use allowance. Their mobile plans are no better.

I eventually set up tethering/hotspot with my iPhone & with Three's £36 p/m 'The One Plan' & I'm getting truly unlimited data between 14 & 20mb with the 3bar signal I usually get in my pad. When outside on a full signal I'm getting over 20mb.

I think that's brilliant considering you get 5,000 3to3 minutes, 2,000 any time any network minutes & unlimited texts you get as well for your £36p/m.

Thought I'd stick this up for anyone considering a change in providers for internet/phone. I'm chopping my Virgin, I don't see the point in paying for that when I'm getting almost double the speed with with Three.

The problem with your virgin is that you probably have the welfare package. They cap the shit out of those lower lines.
Mine never gets capped regardless of downloading 50-100gb in a few hours or not.

Aye lol it is as we mentioned before. Using my phone to tether now and I'm getting 18.47meg with no cap. Not bad for a mobile network so I recommend anyone on the one plan to give it a shot if you haven't already done so :)

The Giff Gaff one does not include tethering so they can stop you using your phone as a hotspot which is what I use mine for nearly all the time at home or at work in the office.

I have the one plan here on three and it's great - although in sunny Ascot I only get about 7-10mb. Pretty fantastic really.

Still good like, I sometimes get about that depending where my phone is. Best move I ever made switching to Three (excluding those pests cold calling lol).

Aye those are a right pain, any 0800 numbers that call never get picked up.

Three is the only network that can knock out those high speeds, and even goes up theoretically to 42mbps anyways with DCHSPA+

Much better than any other network for me so far but that of course will revolve around whether you can get a decent signal to begin with.

Massively. Although it depends what you want - For me it's all about un-capped data which I need all day every day.

I could care less about texts or inclusive minutes.

That's the only reason I went with them like. I was on Orange before that & they were fucking HORRENDOUS.

Whats the signal like on three then? Any complaints? Ive been with 02 since I was 18 never had a problem with them. But I want unlimited data and tethering which puts giff gaff and 02 out of the picture

Signal is usually great to be honest, I rarely have any problems. I get about 2/3 bar in my house (full anywhere else) it's like a fucking bunker my place. They don't use the 2G network so they save a fortune not renting it, 3G only, that's the main reason they're cheaper than the rest. 2G is ok if your 3G signal is shit but they've invested plenty money in their 3G network so it's really unlikely you'd have any problems.

In my pad I'm getting a minimum of 14meg with a 3 bar signal max. Anything over that it's much faster :)
