Ketoloco My mate was telling me about this, apparently some sort of afterparty club converted from a student flat in leeds. I was just wondering if anybody off the board had been and if so is it any good? Planning a trip down at the end of the month so any info would be appreciated. This is all i could find on the place click cheers
they have myspace = www.myspace.com/keto_loco u have to get wristbands as it gets really busy apparently not been yet but def going to make a visit
meat to be the english DC10, was calling itself DC12.. Few ppl i know have been, they loved it, altho they said it is absolutely rammed lately, seem to be getting som good dj's there tho
its called dc 15 ill definatley be going just need to organise a trip well have time to actually attend
My mates go everyweek. You have to go to basics early to get a wristband to get in. You cant just turn up and go in. All it is, is a house full of ket heads. Its pretty wrong to be honest. The basement is the place to be. The likes of woolford, Audiojack and lawson have gone back and played there.
have heard worrying stories about people thinking the ceilings could collapse due to tthe amount of people in the house.
It say its in a basement flat. If not though then to have that many people bouncing around in an upstairs flat would definately cause some problems with the structure. However, they will probably just all be sat on the floor staring at thier hands and dribbling on each other by the sounds of things
If your worried about that, get yourself their new residency at My House in Leeds. The launch party is this Friday, with afters back at DC15. There's a vid of some of the early parties on their Myspace. I've got mates at Uni down there and they say it's class. We're supposed to be going next month to both parties. The weight of people is supposed to be an issue though
I know, a guttered out house full of sweaty gurners/dribblers you don't know just doesn't do it for me. Too claustrophobic for me
its good we've seen the ketaloco boys @ basics and dirty disco my friend knows them and is always at dc15 so she can get wristbands its not far from where stu lives theyve got their own night starting this friday gutted i cant go
The name alone would make me run a mile. But then I'm old and boring. Is this a legal do? I'd be surprised if other clubs are having anything to do with it (ie giving out wristbands) if it's not. If it is legal, then there shouldn't be any worries with the floors etc, as there should have been a health and safety check etc. If it's not, and the wristbands are just being given out in the clubs rather than by the clubs, I would be very worried about structural problems, sufficient fire escapes, correct fireproofing of any materials, that kind of thing. It's a disaster waiting to happen. Plus the fact it will be busted sooner or later.
