LOL, sound, it's just the idea sort of got swept away & didnt know if anyone was still going to head down?
It's well funny watching you having to run about and fix the sound system when you're just the resident DJ.
it will be a limiter on the system somewhere which will be set to a certain sound level if the volume goes over that level the amp will cut out as a precaution to stop it damaging. Either the limiter is set at the wrong level, or the dj's are pushing the system too much.
my Kenwood speakers at home cut out if you have the sound too loud, has stopped them getting severely fucked at house parties i've seen a few photos from Cosmic (not Jnr G before you start getting raj ) where the mixer is way into the red....
look at the state of the eq's aswell, they don't call it the 3 O'Clock Rot for nowt plus the cables probably arent the best....how do you expect a £1000 mixer / £750 CD player / £400 turntable to sound its best through £3 cables from Maplins????
Was that photo taken from ben simms? I have never seen the mk5's in Cosmic other than that night? Those levels are purple!
LOL, me trying to tell DJ's that I have less of a clue than them when it comes to sound problems. "I play records mate, i dont even produce, I probably have less of a fukin clue at whats going on than you mate"
