Derrick Carter at Discotheque Leeds – 1st set in 4 years

    Discotheque Leeds Proudly Presents….

Ministry of Sound Sessions Tour featuring

Derrick Carter (Classic Records / USA)
    Dom Chung
    Sandy Turnbull

    www.gatecrasher.com/leeds

    Admission £8/10

The world famous club brand Ministry of Sound in association with Corona Extra touches down in Leeds for its highly anticipated Sessions tour featuring the first in Leeds for many years of Chicago house master Derrick Carter!

Derrick Carter is considered by many as one of the best house DJs in the world.
Hailing all the way from Chicago, Derrick L Carter pretty much fell in love with DJ’in from the word go…in fact from as early as nine years old, Derrick could be found spinning his beloved disco records at family functions…it was during the 90’s Chicago house explosion that he finally came into the light being one of the pinnacles of that era.

Since then he has constantly innovated and created sounds that have fired up dancefloors the world over. Here in the UK as in other parts of the world he is kept in almost mythical status choosing to play the best and also most revered venues…which in part is why we are so proud to welcome not only the legend that is Derrick Carter but also the brand he is currently traveling under Ministry of Sound to play at one of the north’s emerging club venues…Discotheque Leeds.

Widely respected, hugely admired and universally loved, this king of the jackin house scene is going to blow the club apart with his trademark firebrand house styles.

Sessions resident Dom Chung and Discotheque resident Sandy Turnbull provide the super warm-up flavours before the main event.

So you're trying to say having the oppurtunity to get DLC to play and only to charge £8 is a joke?

Granted this is subsidised by Corona ...hence the reduced door price.

Give us a break for trying dude!

Again...I implore you to read in the actual blurb....

"featuring the first in Leeds for many years of Chicago house master Derrick Carter!"

    Also....

"choosing to play the best and also most revered venues"...
ie Shindig, Ministry, Sankeys, SubClub etc...

    And finally....

"traveling under Ministry of Sound banner to play at one of the north’s emerging club venues…Discotheque Leeds".

    Past guest bookings...

Pete Tong, Oakey, Bodyrox, Tall Paul, Shy FX, Trevor Nelson, Westwood, guy Ornadel, Signum, Solveig, Sandy Rivera, Sinclair, Kenny Dope.....regular nights including Hed Kandi, Crasher, etc.

I've honestly been doing this too long to get drawn into one of these....we're doing our best to goive good value entertainment...I accept that in message boards we're open to getting ripped so accept the banter.

    Peace! Ad :chill:
