    scanning job application forms

    Anyone know of a program where u can scan a form then type into it, I really cant be bothered to write!

    You do know by the time someone has replied to this with a sensible answer, then after you've downloaded the required program and typed the form out, you could have just written it out by hand and saved yourself the trouble?

    Not if it's a really long form...

    The slinky green app forms from Gateshead Civic Center used to take for ages to complete, easily smudged to, a real stinker of a form to fill in.

    A scan-in app would have come in mighty helpful I dare say.

    You need some proper OCR software - something like omnipage which will import the file back into Word or some other Word Processing package, then you can treat it like a normal document.
