Did anyone hear about the Tango stopping half way through its duration... people were left hanging about 50 ft in the air upsidedown .. it took several minutes to get them down. It was a safety malfuction or something of the sort. They got them down manually and no one was seriously hurt.... just to let ya's kno thats the ride i think where there is no seat belt fasining if thats the correct spelling.
There was a power cut and it came to a slow, safe stop. Had to be wound down manually and from the time of the powercut it took 7 minutes to get the people off (not 20 like the Chron says and not the 45 which my mate said he'd heard) and nobody was hurt at all, never mind seriously.. Only one car was fully upside down at the time also. There was some issue and it was a safety FEATURE that caused the ride to cut out. Was fixed and re-opened shortly after, having been cleared by health and safety. Not having a seatbelt isn't an issue on Tangos although certainly from the average punters point of view they couldn't go wrong to have them. The Chronicle had it as front page news yesterday....and it happened on Thursday! Our country has had 3 failed terror attacks in as many days and yet their front page story was about a powercut..... Wouldn't be overly fun but it really isn't a big deal. The people on it remained calm, then all got free rides...so they couldn't have been that bothered. See here: http://icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk/...objectid=19383901&siteid=50081-name_page.html pathetic that they made such a big deal out of it like...like these guys havn't had a tough enough week as it is. Still, when I was there on Friday night it was running constantly and almost totally full so :moon: to the Chronicle These things happen in Theme Parks regularly yet we don't see it on front page news....
the chronicle a local paper local news it gets published befor the 1st failed terror attack took place, so get off ur high horse and stop stickin up for those gypo theiving twats
ooooh thieving...how exactly? First failed attack was Friday... edit: that aside, my point is there are more important contenders for front page news.
its not london u no we do live in newcastle and i was fridays paper which ahd article in and its printed 10 in morning 3 hours befor failed attack
you're still missing the point but never mind on a side note, does Saturdays paper get printed at 10 o clock on Friday morning? Or do you mean Fridays paper gets printed at 10 on Friday morning?
