Good food Have just been to Tavistock on the quayside (what used to be Casa) and the food was absolutely delicious. If you like sea food then I would definitely recommend it. We had a massive tub of mussels, I had sea bass on noodles and David had whole sole and drinks for £50. We got a further 50% discount for having a gourmet society card so all that for £25, defo recommended as it is not somewhere I thought would have had such delicious food!!
We went for a Mongolian the other week when were in edinburgh the food was brilliant. £19.95 per person for one starter and desert then an all you can eat main course you do yourself. Loads of recipes on the wall above where all the veg and spices and noodles etc are telling you hw to do them so you put them in your bowl then take them to the chef who cooks them. the choices of meat with you meals was different aswell, the usuals like Pork Chicken, Prawn, Beef Mussles etc then stuff like... Zebra, Shark, Ostrich, Kangaroo, Spingbok, Crocodile, Wild Boar, Venison. Zebra and Shark
Dunno how to describe it, its not really tender but its far from being tough and chewy and really gamey, as a slight taste of beef but not too much. Springbok was the only horrible thing we tried, Ostrich was nice aswell which was very much like beef even though it was a wite meat. Shark was the best it was a really tender and chunky white fush full ov flavour and really flakey, melted in your mouth. Fuck knows what species of shark it was like.
Isn't it like totally illegal to fish for dolphin?? Oh well Sounds like a nice place like.....love seafood
dolphin :tut: ( illegal as f*ck ) shark is bad also, they catch the poor things cut off their fins then throw them back into the sea to drown... ostrich anybody ever tried guinea pig ?? had it in equador last year and it was really nice
If zebra's anything like horse (which I imagine it is) then it'll be well nice. Can't beat a good horse steak
You're complaining about the cruelty to the most feared marine animal around and in the same post you're telling us all how tasty guinea pig and ostrich is.
totally different when an animal is farmed for food tho,the animal only exists to be eaten. wild animals killed for food when they are becoming endangered is just wrong
yea it wrong to kill dolphin but i was in mexico this dolphin was found dead tested for disease and was eatin it was well lush. killin shark just the same it shoudnt be done but it tastes good. all were doing is returnin the favour there not top of the food chain us humans are we kill what we want we eat what we want thats how it will always be wether its fair or not thats how it is...
