Houseparty Saturday 24th November, brings to the clubbers of Leeds the launch of Houseparty - a night where open minded people meet an open minded music policy. Houseparty aims to provide a party of house and electro though to trance and beyond in the intimate surroundings of Bar Home, part of the historical complex of Arches in Dark Neville Street . With the musical emphasis changing for each party, the launch sees playing: Special Guest Jon Rundell (2 Hour Set) Jon Rundell’s sound of techno, house and electro fused music has taken him across the globe, playing festivals including Dance Valley (Holland), Global Gathering (UK), Ultrafest in Miami and Sonar (Spain), being selected as Carl Cox’s support DJ for his Australia Tour, and even onto Radio 1 as guest DJ for Eddie Halliwell’s show. Formerly manager of Intec Records on behalf of Carl Cox, Jon’s own productions are supported by DJs as diverse as Paul Van Dyk and Danny Tenaglia to John Digweed, Trevor Rockcliffe and Ben Sims – his style, whilst forward thinking, never forgets the party. “I think Jon’s a jewel in the crown. He’s really great with the crowd and his music. He’s been a great support to me. Put him in front of 30,000 people and he really goes for it. He naturally warms the crowds up. A love of music from house to trance has seen AJ make appearances throughout the UK for the mighty Gatecrasher, Slinky and Passion to Ibiza, South Africa and Malaysia. Known for his passion and energy, AJ Gibson’s sets always rock the dance floor.
