anywhere from £100 - £150 usually and they'll be in for operation all day.

I can't believe people do this :( Surely it can't be that much effort to advertise "free to good home" or whatever.

not in your own home they dont, you can just go and visit with your dog. You can take it for a local walk for 5 mins but legally they cant take the dog away.

if we could have kept him we would, i think he was a greyhound collie lurcher as he seems tall and broad for a 6 month old whippet but he's not MASSIVE.....he was very intelligent, although he had mischevious puppiness in him he still trained very well in the short time i had him.

He's gone to a very good friend of ours who's had lurchers before and he chose her as soon as she walked through the door......i'm very happy cos i know he's gone to the ideal home.

some times people put them on to rabbits at to of an early age
and when the get frustrated they start yapping,

like barking but high piched squeling as to say and this continues through there adult life which makes it no good for hunting as it disturbs(frightens the other game) in the field also you dont want farmers hearing you 4 in the morning with your lamp and dog then him chasing you through the field with a rice gun

i don't go hunting now and i know peoples views on hunting are very mixed but beleive me these dogs are at there happiest and most content when they are actually hunting and they are tuff as old boots and there temprement is second to none probably more friendly than any other bread of dog

when me and my mates had dogs me and my mate gary had dogs but no lamp at the time

but our other mate had and when we used to go round to borrow his lamp he used to let his dog out for 5 mins with ours and once his dog seen us with the lamp on could he hell get it in

it used to follow us when he was shouting and balling for it to get in it's kennell cause it wanted to go out hunting so just shows any dog loves there master and won't obbay another man (well to a certain extent like sit and paw)

but if you've got the lamp and the owner of the lurcher is staying tucked up in bed you can bet it will rather go with you then take commands from its owner which goes to show they love going out hunting and chasing things

this one was intrigued by the guniea pig and had a bit of a play, he hurt the pig but i dont think it was intentional.

I hate hunting like, i understand about pest control to a certain extent but i hate barbaric hunting methods. Anything from dogs and men on horses to big metal badger traps. I love wildlife as much as my own pets and believe we should do our part in protecting our wildlife as it just makes this country a little bit of a better place to live. But thats just my opinion, and everyone is different so i dont think any worse of you for doing it. Thats your choice.
