aye he was billed as the next big dj by mixmag and goodgreef, he was class at one of the early junior g, and i seen him at creamfields were he played well, also goodgreef/promise at ikon, since then he's went doonhill...i don't know what it is but it just doesn't seem the same when a big dj is standing watching gay porn on his laptop and playing his itunes instead of his records
well it's deffo worth a look! attic gets sooo damn hot though, so at least it has something in common with the old days. Decent price too, and it's good to have a decent option on a friday night again
Although many of you don't agree with the headlining dj, this comes with the territiry and we can't please all, but the 'Promise' brand and reputation will carry on and the 30th May will make for one of more anticipated events of this years clubbing calender.
i could of handed you a sheet of a4 paper, both sides filled, with 3 names on each line, of trance dj's that are better than adam sheridan.
i dont think anyone agrees. fair play for bringing promise back, and if it works (like sea didnt) we'll carry you down northumberland street with our cocks out, but sheridan must agree to play at the opening of a fucking envelope sometimes. hes just not that good.
i honestly can't see why you would want to book sheridan?i mean how would you describe his style of trance?its :fart:
I think you'll agree, Sheridan or no Sheridan, the thing what made 'Promise' what it was, were the people, the persona and the atmosphere...the same applies here!
in some ways, nothings changed on this board in years - the members are all different but the attitude is the same
I'm not denying that fact, always will be a mint atmosphere at promise, just that i believe to bring promise back deserves a much better dj headlining. The other dj's that are on are good up&coming local dj's who will probably piss on sheridan, says it all really
