"New" Funky House?

    "New" Funky House?

    Just read a single review on RA for "The Climate Change EP" by Mentor Roska. It's the second time in as many months I've heard the term "funky house" used, but it seems they're trying to create a new genre around it...

    To me, it sounds like a lot of stuff; a lot of influences - but I really don't think it's anything new - definitely not warranting the excitement the RA lads are showing......

    Am I just not "with it", or are these lads just making stuff up so they have something new and fresh to write about???
