anybody else hate having to do this??
i havent been in all week and ive just rang work up to say i wont be in tonight (again) and i feel soooo guilty about it, dunno why to be honest i can hardly bloody walk, or if i try i look like a chimp

I once rang in sick from Dalla's Texas there was time lag on the phone and I got sacked when I got back

I'm used to it now. Been in my job 3 1/2 months and not sure if I've done a full week yet.

i am off bad again, have had more time off in the last 6 weeks than I have in my whole working life! mine includes no childcare, poorly child and a relative passing away though, so it is all reasons that cant be helped!

my work is mint aswell and have told me not to come back in until im 100%, if I go in on tuesday and still sniffly i will be sent home!

My Manager at the Recruitment firm I used to work for was mates with just about everyone I party with, into what im into & also on my Faceboook, I spent most of my days sickness calling mates to cover my tracks

I used to hate ringing in sick so i just use to txt in then turn off me phone nd deal with it the day later, my excuses were shocking, not gona even start haha. Took its toll as i had a disiplinary on the monday to recieve a final warning and went awol the sat & sunday b4 that monday haha. Ended up handing in me notice as i knew i was gona get finished like.

My manager used to be on here, i cant remem if i phoned in or missed any Mondays and he seen any photos of me at an afters still??

I wouldnt know about a decent excuse to be honest for phoning in, it doesnt happen very rarely for me nor do i know when to and how many days i get or have left for sick....

Couldnt count how many Sundays he missed, some funny calls where a room of 20 ppl had to "keep quite" !!

I was late on Monday after going to me other jobs Xmas do, i woke up at half nine which is the latest you can go in on flexi - picks me phone up bearing in mind i got in at about half four "im gonna be late i have to pick a prescription up for me mam" "aye nee bother son"

Not only was me mam long gone at work and fit but i am into double figures for using it for her never mind me...

I hate ringing in sick. My work insists you speak to someone too so no voicemail/text etc.

The worst bit is the temptation to put on a 'sick voice'. I fucking hate it when other people do it but I know I do as well, even if I'm genuinely ill.
