Elimiate - The Empire Launch Party 11th Sept

It's a hell of a risk been on the same night as DS. For the towns sake I hope it works. Boro has been shite for years for putting on Trance nights, even with the big names. The town musically has become extremely uneducated and is now just full of binge drinkers who wouldn't know the likes of Hardwick if he slapped them across the face.

Digitized tried and it just didn't kick off despite the huge line ups. It's a damn shame as The Empire is a fantastic venue and when it's full with the right crowd it would piss all over DS. However at the minute nothing can touch DS for the crowd and atmosphere.

I'll be on my hols but good luck anyway.

EVERYTHING about D.S is beyond immense, had some wicked nights there in the last 2yrs, wish they'd get a sound engineer in though, as at times the sound is all over the place in the main room, it's obviously when the DJ's get a little over excited & max all the mixer levels, gets my goat when all you can hear is distortion & bass/no melodies in sight!:evil:.........

Loadsa clubs seem to be like this these days, the obsession with bass overload is ridiculous!..........

ive been to DS twice, and id rather make the journey down there than go anywhere up here

imo theres not a big enough trance following in boro, and no other major cities near to make this work. If junior:g lasted what, 3 months down there ?

My lass is from Boro & she refuses to go out there. That night at the Warehouse was the first time she has been out in Boro since we last went to the Empire in May 2008 I think - sure it was for Jules, Schulz & Hardwick

Thats how much of a memorable night it was - couldnt even remember the line-up!

I vowed not to step foot in boro ever again! So I will most probs not be there. Canny lineup tho.
