I was talking to Purvy about this on Saturday morning before the fight that night and it's shown in the Barrera and Kotelnik fights how much of a difference Freddy Roach has made.

He's still got a questionable jaw as he's not really been hit since Prescott however what he's shown in his fight since being with Roach is he's had a gameplan. The fight on sat we never got to see it apart from try get in an early shot and put Salita on the backfoot and it was game over as soon as he dumped him first time.

He looks alot more powerful and even quicker. I still don't like him but you can't help but be impresed with his power and hand speed at the moment.

The real question will be when he fights someone big and takes one on the chin. Fair play to him though. He's came back well from what was frankly an embarrasing defeat to Prescott.

I think what we all seen was how poor Khans chin really is, Mitchell took punches full on at times and almost laughed at Prescott, by that time khan would have been having a shower.

Yes he's improved, and against fighters with less pace who won't catch him he will look good, put him against someone with pace or the class to find that pointy jaw and he'll be on bransons shuttle checking out the stars.

I can't get excited about him because of that.

    Comparing to Ali lol.

For the latter half of Ali's career he spent most rounds taking a beating which ended up tiring his opponents out, or leaving a gap where he could capitalize, Khan would be flat on the floor with pointy jaw.
