anyone ever rented a lodge.log cabin in scotland? i am looking into a alternative nye fancy a logcabin in the middle of no where with snow on the ground, me in my dewalt wasitcoat chopping logs while the woman roast a whole hog. we will have a loved up snow ball fight like the wham video and then get kezzelled is there anywhere in scotland always covered in snow in winter??
I've always wanted to do this. I'm not sure wheres always covered in snow, I think you'll need to go up to the highlands. Isle of bute is menna be good over the west side of scotland. You can get some mint cabins with hot tubs outside and stuff but most of them are proper dated and havent had a a lick of paint for 40 years.
My dad does it every year and goes shooting Grouse and Geese, he's on holiday at the minute but I'll ask him where's best when he gets back.
iv found some great ones but the price isnt listed on site you have to phone .. this is never a good point. avimore and surrounding areas get snow but nothing it definite, i thought there was areas that always get snow but apparently not
im looking into getting a cottage in te lakes soon possibly over nye aswell, found fome corkers like but anyone got an info/recommendations? edit: be for about 8-10 people
Try Highland Boundary Fault I'm from scotland & always remember a place called Alva Glen, the kinda place lost tourists on a budget would go, & be in the local paper the next week as Missing People go missing up there that often that they don't even bother to headline it anymore. they did not long ago tho if i mind right when those campers were found dead out in a lake, cuse of death wasn't drowning ether. Or that time a head and hand washed up on a beach Some lush places tho if u have a good hunt on the net m8, just don't go for the cheapest option, or we'll see ur Missing poster on here lol
