    Here for another week or maybe three. Fucking mint! I might go back to scotland next week if its looking meaty.

    Sick of the OAPS moaning about know ppl who have broken their arms etc tho, fuckers :lol:

    No because those countries are prepared for it, the same fucking thing here happens regardless of the weather. Look what happens when there is a heatwave or it rains constantly, same result. Entire country comes to a fucking halt. It's a complete farce.

    BBC1 even had a half hour 'weather special' which i thought might have had some important news or advice on it.

    Nope, it had videos of the baboons in some zoo in merseyside walking about in the snow, yet ANOTHER old person saying 'this is the worst its ever been', and people stressing about whether or not the schools were too quick to shut down but at the same time advice being given by the police not to travel unless completely necessary. Complete obsession with encouraging the nation to wring its hands at any given opportunity.

    Thank god the Met office gives us advice to put a coat on if we are going out in the snow thouggh. I dunno what i would have done without that fucking doozy.

    In this day and age, things like this are fucking AWESOME - what better to break the complete spirit crushing monotony of a 9-5, monday to friday existance, than this! People are staying at home and having some fun.

    I hope this goes on for days, weeks, months, years!

    Me too, it's nice to have it a bit different like!

    its been quality over here, the scroats have been making huge snow roadblocks with the aid of a (probably nicked) wheelbarrow, over some of the main roads over here during the night. been causing some chaos that has :lol:

    also seeing a single decker bus, laden with pensioners, sliding slightly sideways down a hill backwards has also been a highlight.

    I hope it lasts until at least monday, I've got a college exam and I haven't even done my english assignment for today yet but I need to go sledging later.

    as for thw worst in 29 years thats bollox iv worked out when i was like 13 (about 22 years ago) it was worse than this... i remember my dad building us sledges and stuff and missing many days of school nit just a couple

    we have road blocks in the east end also, fucking quality the filth cant patrol their normal rounds :lol:

    the gas thing is a bit of a paper seller we always 'only' have days of energy left.

    The weather experts (who cant predict snow at all) have said this is going to last 10 days at least. I predict more like a month, even if it get to +1 for the next week it wont melt. In 79 the snow didnt go till June.

    I am going back to scotland for some extremeness next week i am going to make the most of this

    My dad lives in scotland, said it's -12 where he works, told me when he was at work he left his bottle of water outside for 30mins or less & it was frozen :lol:

    It's amazing how clueless as humans we can be lol, we really do just accept the first piece of garbage thrown at us if it sounds like it makes sense, they were adamant on a mild winter, if they can't see 6 months ahead, how can they convince us they know what’s in store for us say 30 or more years away?, I make my own mind up now, it's probably just as useful.

    Wouldn't surprise me if everything we've listened to about global warming & the planet heating up turns upside down & hits us like a ton of frozen bricks, after all if this cold spell & -20 is possible after them saying it wasn't, then anything is possible. Nature always finds a way, at least half of us will eventually be wiped out in the end, i'll now say by a mini ice age :lol: 4 weeks of cold n were almost out of gas :facepalm: God help us.
