29 people have died in -20 and below conditions in Poland and i'm supposed to be going there next month
nitwit. Like the eloquent mr forks says, there's a difference between " a few weeks of cold weather" and world climate.
i was in scotland for new year and i was close to minus 20, the thing is tho it dosnt feel any difference from -5 when its minus -20. I dress correctly and dont even feel the cold, i was too hot for most of the time in scotland cos of wearing too much on my body. The ONLY thing that bothers me is THE WIND, its a killer when its cold and snowing.
Unless it keeps snowing for the rest of the night its not really that bad any more, the main roads are all getting sorted and people are getting a bit more used to it
Or I reckon son, the roads were absolutely spot on today, and they'll be even better tomorrow. You heard it here first sasquatch
salt stops to work even at a little below 0' , maybe -4 or lower . i know this as me dad drives the grttiers since i was a kid , i remember going out 3am in blizzards , he usualy got pissed too while drivin sometimes , thou , that was the 80's like
i think that should read "SOME Roads where ideal today" SOME roads where also impossible. Your really dont get a true feel for the snow until you leave the city, the traffic (foot and car) and general heat gets rid of most of the snow in and around city centres
different story tommorow here like. it's still chucking down snow. \o/ loving the 'grit rationing' and 'gas shortage' crack on the news tho
Innit. Plus it's been snowing for the past couple of hours in cramlington, most the roads are pretty bad.
