Have you made the necessary structural changes to the DJ booth for darksyderz?

Namely nailing all the CDJs and DJ equipment down to the desk?

well i didnt think it would take long before attention was distracted from the whole point of this thread to advertise an event ive spent alot of time sorting out to slag people off who you dont know , yes we all know what happened but the whole story ist as bad as everyone makes out and the lad knows he did wrong and also the person who got injured has forgave him and they are mates so i think its about time everyone moved on about slagging the darksyderz off there just young lads and have learned there lesson if i didnt think they were sound i wouldnt stand by them .

i know that the scence is full of people who will always stir shit to climb above others or promoters jumping at any chance to bad mouth others to ruin them but we dont partake in this bollox

    rant over haha

    Really?

Then how come they haven't explained it to melt (the detox promoter), or Static (the guy who owns the CDJ they launched off the desk)?

Last we heard they were both still waiting for an explanation. If you don't believe me, check out [ame="http://www.nucastle.co.uk/showpost.php?p=1366050&postcount=413"]Nucastle Forums - Music, Clubbing & Stuff - View Single Post - DETOX PRESENTS 'ALCHEMY' - Saturday 21st Nov 2009[/ame] (melt's last post on the subject three weeks ago).

And if they've learned their lesson and grown up, why does their facebook group description (here) read like this:

This isn't stirring shit or bad mouthing DJs. Melt thought they were good lads and booked them, and look where that got him....

No disrespect intended. Its your night, I'm aware you've worked hard to put it on and I hope it goes well, but I think it would be wrong to keep my mouth shut and not warn you about what you could be getting into :)

at the end of the day this has got nothing to do with this event so im not prepared to talk about it anymore. everyone is entitled to their own veiws fair play this is not what this thread is intended for and isnt a hostile matter it happened at detox.

back in november and december the accused was adamant nowt had happened

this is a nice lineup that me and my mates would normally attend , support and encourage others to go to but we wont attend any event where they feature as 2 - 3 months on neither me nor static have been given a plausible explanation as to what happened.

clearly there is an explanation and you would think that 2 local djs who were given the last set in a room that had dj's on of the calibre of mark eg and rodi style would at least have the courtesy to offer such an explanation.

anyway, rant over...back to all things hostile

Not like you actually have to see them play, just go in the other room. Don't let a couple of chav tramps ruin a good night out before it's even started ffs!
