fair comment on the house/techno side of things but as lee said he's gonna mix it up a bit with electro & breaks so it will be a bit different. Its only the upstairs of cosmic n usually there's a good atmosphere up there Plus, by the looks of it (on this board anyway) there aint owt else on in town this weekend, other than vice club
I will, picked up some proper nice psy trance when I was in Thailand. Brought some luminous paint back too so I'll bring that on Friday
putting on a trance night in town these days isnt worth the time and effort imo geoff My comment was said because everything thats on at the cosmic these days is stuck under the house/techno banner. i doubt you could walk into the ballroom blindfolded on a weekend and be able to tell what night was on. edit> just clicked on that this is just upstairs. fair enough then... whats on downstairs?
Adam, what do you want to hear? Come down mate, should be a laugh. I've just come back from Thailand and you couldn't get away with playing a straight house or techno set, it's gotta be mixed up otherwise people just walk away to a different part of the beach. The whole concept of this night is about mixing it up, i.e eclectic. So I am trying to do something different to be fair but would be interested to hear what you think
If people are in agreement with you, then you're not very likely to find any Trance nights in the club, as no-one will want to put one on. When they launch, the new Saturdays will no longer revolve around house or techno. Fridays are about to get a bit more varied too. And we've got Judgement Day on in a couple of weeks too.
