Did you manage to get the set recorded from Mike this time? What was that mixer he was using? Really enjoyed the music, good crowd good night.
It was a Urei rotary mixer, belongs to Tommy Rocksteady, we did record it but fuck knows how it'll sound as the mixer had no indicator of what the level's were like. Sure Tone will check it out today. Thanks all who came down, was a great night.
even though i was fairly sober and by normal standards pretty sensible, it ranks up with my favourite nights of the year so far like... whilst it's standard behaviour for me to suffer vivid hallucinations on a sunday, it's true i could actually shut my eyes and see the ibizan sunset and lots of scantily clad women. also, there was a dj booth made of timber and palm leaves, and daly had his top off again. i seem to remember the chilled music around the 9-10pm mark being particularly emotional. great memories.
took me a while to notice the little projector but that was a nice touch. balearic mike was spot on, played some absolute winners, none of which i knew. i knew the mixer was tommy's but didn't realise it was a urei. looked like a right rack-mounted beast though. top work lads. great work tony for keeping your top on.
