sick of this me mouse nacked n i wrote a git good essay too.

anyway, cant be arsed to write much now, except the point that i dont go to promise rto pull and wouldnt even if i was single, its all for the music. that's why i dont mind takin me girlfriend (i mite be a bit naive for thinkin promiseis any different to yr standard fun pub in this respect) cos i feel that she wont be chatted up loads.

for me, its all or nothing-

either go to a quiet pub where u can all talk n have a laugh (n drink). [or u can do the same at home, either way its normally decent crack] ]

or, go clubbin to a top notch club like Promise, or wherever. Anywhere with music decent enough tpo dance to.

My own thought is that places like Durham is crap cos there's no decent music, so I don't wanna dance (it's all cheesey pop, 70s/80s [which isnt too bad at the right time, i.e. when im absolutely mashed] or whatever dance is played is usually summat shit like Flip n Fill...) I dont need to go on, except my point is this, why go somewhere where there's really loud, but really SHIT music?? You cant have decent crack cos u gotta shout to be heard, and cup your ear to hear. N you cant dance cos the music is, in general, wank.

I accept that there's a lot of people, some of you on this board that might lioke the cheesey, commercial stuff that gets played in Yates's and where have you, but I don't, so Im not bein harsh on yous, this is my personal opinion, and why I cant stand going to most places in Durham (in fact all), many in Newcastle and wherever.
