Ok then who saw it lol? someone on here must have or know someone who saw it. My twitter/facebook went viral with UFO talk, sadly I didn't see it :(

According to Sky News etc it was seen as far north as Stirling (My home city) Scotland.

Some good videos of it though, this being the clearest. Looks a bit too slow to be a meteor in my opinion. Maybe our lovely lasers have attracted a few new pals ;)

How can you even describe what you think the speed of it is with out knowing the scale or distances?

I know you like your UFO stuff but you're clutching at straws with that one lol

I've never found UFO stuff interesting to be honest mate lol, I like conspiracy theories but stuff like this I don't bother with.

Looking at real footage of meteors on the net though, that thing millions saw here last night doesn't seem like a meteor to me. Just my opinion.

Could be something falling that's been sent up there though, satellite or something.

First impression it looks like space debris burning up but it dosnt appear to be getting smaller or "burning out"

Very interesting. Any offical comment on this?

That's what someone said on the news tonight, sky news I think it was. Interview was cut short less than 3 minutes after he started straying off the subject of it being a meteor

Those coloured lasers were suppose to bring us hope & luck according to TTTV!, instead it brings us a fucking meteor/debris haha turn them off!

I saw it over Durham, thought it was a firework at first until I realised how big it was. Like a huge gold ball with a long tail and was a sort of blue ish colour at the end. It was an awesome sight! It kept on going until it disappeared from sight but had no signs of stopping. Apparently there were reports of it right down the country.

possible alien pod aimed at the northpole. I expect giant war of the world walkers to emerge over night.

imagine if the world ends now geordies? you will go out thinking that you couldnt beat 10 men even with a free shot at goal from 15 yards.

Me & the Mrs saw it on our street, on our way back from Whitley bay. It was epic! None of the footage on the net does it justice.

We thought it was a Chinese lantern at first, then some Uber-firework, but obviously there was no sound & it wasn't going to explode :p

Gutted I was too pissed to get my camera out in time :(

Ah I remember you posting about it now. They think it's landed in France, & said it is/was the size of a fist... lol more like the size of a fucking mini cooper the way people have described it.

The size of a fist?? Fuck me it looked more like the size of a house! I agree though none of the video's I've seen come close to how good it actually looked!
