But i will say this it annoys me when there is tracks which are classed as trance when in my opinion they will never be true 2 the core trance .....

ie acts like flip n fill ...., lasgo , ian van dahl , tukan ..

whos side are you on, WE trance lovers HATE the way ian van dahl & lasgo are called trance, thats whats killing TRANCE...they should be called Pop dance or summet! theyre not real trance!

Any music can have a trancy riff, (not cheezy) classical, some dance, techno, electro, hardhouse,if there is a trancy riff init, you find urself driffting away then that is trance, even if it is in a hardhouse track n only goes on for 2minutes, if u float, ur in that trance boat! , just like time traveller is, your floating mate.......face it.

So PVD see's crasher as a danceable bullshit club.

Not just coz he's my fave DJ like but everyone knows that Van Dyk made Gatecrasher what it is / was with his then sell out 6hr sets and personally i cant fucking wait for his retn to The Republic coz it will be unreal that night !

Incidently he is one of the only Trance DJ's now playing proper original Trance along with all of his remixes, the likes of Tiesto and that are throwing more and more techno tunes into there sets which shows that techno is bigger than ever !

tiesto plays all sort's of stuff now, i still ike him tho.

but PVD is the only true trance dj now!

armin plays what i call real, pure trance. and IMO is one of the only DJs who does. along with hardwick + ferry....
it can get a bit boring tho, and sound flat....

tiesto plays like 3 techno songs, la rock, gatex (his mix!) and turbulence, thats about it....and i reckon he only does it because they are his mates (frank biazzi), or he has remixed the tune (gatex)....
tiesto plays real trance all the time, he just build sets up from progier stuff, and plays a bit deeper than PVD most of the time.

PVD plays techno too, well tech trance (reloop + marco V stuff).
if anything, i would say PVDs current sound is quite a long way from for an angel, and the other 'original trance' tunes. playing stuff by syntax (prey), and even playing circ - detroy she said ( german electro group).
PVD plays quote "the music he loves", which is the way to do it IMO.

i wouldnt say that PVD has made crasher what it is...he didnt do it single handedly....he has done some good sets, but PVD didnt make crasher....there are loads of DJs that contirbuted to it over the years.....


but who cares what its all called, and what people play....
