It went very well thanks. All of the DJ's who played were of a good standard and the crowd size was good for a Tuesday.

Where in Killingworth you from ?

I really enjoyed it. Only bad points I reckon was the fact there were no monitors and the half-an-hour sets, but neither of these things could be helped by Terry or anyone so twas a quality all round and I look forward to the next one!!!!

Oh, and cheers for the lend of the headphones Anthony, I forgot to say thanks before I left.

    No probs there Gareth.

A big well done to all of us. A good night for everyone involved and all those lucky enough to have been there.

As always, there are pitfalls, but we shall build on each event and make it better. Shame i'm off to do some DJing in Oz, would like to see how it all pans out. But I will take the idea with me and who knows where it may lead us...

Oz - here we come !!!

    Decks

We used the equipment which they had. And as they say - a good workman never blames his tools!

We all managed to do some good sets. The only trouble I had was when the crossfader crackled and 'opened' the sound of me cueing a record up!!!

yeah, the crossfader is fukked. its annoying when you are cueing and the sound suddenly comes through.
but to be honest, the setup is shit.....i dont care if i appear to be a 'bad workman'..... :) :p

    Bad Workmen

Wasn't implying that 'workmen' at you. Just DJing in general. We all have to make the most of the opp's we get when they arise!!!

I admit, setup is shite compared to the old World HQ setuo. That baby took your ears off after 3 hours behind the decks!
