    as ebay policy states....you are covered by the insirance policy for items over £20, if i buy him and say i've paid you i could claim back the money for not receiving the item!

    Nah, cos theyve set it up so they win so no worries! Plus the reserve is about a million pounds an they wont sell if its not met! So GET BIDDING! :D

    do they realise that they have to pay approx 5% of the total cost to ebay when its finished? the higher the bid goes the more fees they have to pay :S

    damnit i've been beaten and have run out of cash at £1,000.....ah well i'll just have to get over him ;)

    the sellers fee will come out of the cash collected from the winning bidder....ebay waives the fee if the product isn't sold.

    Actually, if anyone manages to bid past the reserve (doubtful) and they turn up with the cash then he's theirs. I'm quite willing to knock him out, tie him up and stick him in the boot of your car.
