    Guy Ornadel in Sunderland

As part of the Cream tour Guy Ornadel will be playing at Annabel's in Sunderland on 20th June, it has the potential to be good!

Also, Insomz has been doing regular nights at Annabels, Nick Rafferty is resident apparently!

Didn't expect you to know who he is mate, that's intelligent music ;)

For any of you that care, Elliott's playing Downtown Science with Kieron, Cumiskey and Garry Ogden at The Quayside Exhange in Sunderland on Monday.

    Best of all, IT'S FREE!

    Starts at 6, finishes at 12 ;)

Yup and they're sound as n 'all.

Elliot Eastwick is founder of paper records, ex resident of Hard Times and general loudmouth knowitall manc. Fucking respec to one of the north of englands true house heroes.

As for Guy Ornadel I once (the first night he played promise after the empire) shared a lift from M'bro to Newcastle with this fellah and personally I think it's his corporate-minded (and the like) attitude to dance music that has polluted the vibe. With his "what would the kids think if they could here us talking about poltics" and his "the further north you go the uglier it gets". However he did admit that Josh wink is a better dj then himself.

    Truth

    You decide

too right - still - its what music they play that really matters and it will be the best dj sunderland has had in a long long while (since started uni anyways) so I will have to see him

Listen i'm saying he is condescending, he plays music for the "kids" so he can make a tidy profit from your pockets and I very much doubt if he goes record shopping for all those promo gems he drops and I doubt it even more that he loves the music he plays. (Disclaimer - in my opinion after having met the Guy for 40mins 2 or so years ago)

This is not what it is about

There is and you will eventually come to realise or you'll stop doing this altogether; that there is subtle difference in hearing a dj play who who has great technical ability, new tracks and a high profile and one who has soul.

    It's a soul thing...

okay. im sorry but im going to take no notice of your opinion at all. ive seen guy play at least 10 times over the past 3 years. and everytime he's played a gud set, gud mxing, gud tunes etc.

and he interacts with the crowd more than mostb dj's which sumthing i like. it looks like guy is loving it everytime he plays.
