I cant say that ive ever noticed this ! And as for making the DJ fook up this aint going to happen, they are all professionals. Not as if they are gonna try and shake ur hand whilst they are in the middle of a mix or anything.
Agreed - if the DJ is mid mix and u try to shake his hand - its a pain in the arse.... However the majority of DJ's like recognition and shaking someones hand is a sign of appriciation and respect. Its one of the great unexplained things about clubbing, why people do it, theres nothing wrong with it unless it makes the dj fook up, which is not very often. And a lot of DJ's do like it as they get feeling that there sets are going down well with the crowd, but it isnt a beer boy thing u see all different types of clubbers do it.
The only DJ whose hand I've ever wanted to shake is Mr. Picotto and when he played promise I fookin forgot! I think it's cool if that's what people wanna do. It's not hurting anyone. And I'll be seeing Mauro at New Year so anyone who is there remind me on...

Yeah, and how many times has this happened at Promise recently? I know I haven't been everytime, but the times I have been, no DJ has fucked up due to anyone tryin to shake his hand, and anyway, at PVD, the boucers were well strict about lettin people get near the dj box! On a different note... Went to Cyberdog in Camden the other day, and the music is the hardest stuff I've ever hard, Captain Tinrib and stuff, and the staff were all dancin bout, was wicked! I stayed in there for ages, pity most cyber clobber is made for people with matchstix for legs! Oh well... SOme of the new clobber is well wicked! But I miss newcastle!
