    Absolutely unbelievable.

A professional athlete at the peak of his fitness.

Thinking is that he's put too much strain on his body and had a heart attack.

    Such a shame.

    Rest in peace.

Just shows you that you should get as much out of life as you can, while you can.

kinda puts things into perspective doesnt it?
that a fit, healthy young man can just die so suddenly

Got home from work last night, shoes off, text page 302 on and what I saw shocked me after reading about the incident, I couldn't stop talking about it to my mam & dad. Then the sadness kicked in once I saw the French team crying during the playing of there national anthem. I first remember Marc-Vivien coming to prominence just before France 98 he was picked for his country for the world cup & was going to be joining 1 of the worlds greatest football clubs Manchester United, but as luck would have it he broke his leg just before signing, he never went to the world cup & he didnt sign for Manchester United. I felt Marc-Vivien never got back to the level where Europe's really big clubs were after him but as Sunderland fans will tell you he was still a formidable player.

When the Colombian defender got shot for scoring an own goal in USA 94 I only felt shocked, but because Marc-Vivien belonged to the English football family I have felt shocked ,saddened & upset. RIP Marc-Vivien your football family will never forget you

I was at work when the news came on skysports.com.
28 years old, still had a good career ahead of him.
I feel so sorry for his family.
It was nice of Henry to dedicate his goal to him:)
