    Hayfever is poo.
    I feel like my nose is stuffed full of small African children, please help:(

    i suffer hayfever real bad too!
    go to the docs and ask for fexofenadine!
    they really work!!!:D

    trick I heard mate, and apparently this really works, is get some local made honey and scoff some of that. Theory is cos its made from local pollen you get a tolerance to it so you dont get the hayfever in trhe 1st place, ta-da :D

    Only prob is you're mean to eat the honey few weeks before the hayfever season

    also heard a trick the other day. apparently, stick a bee up each nostril and it stops the pollen from getting in. clever little bumblers. :D

    i could only catch 1 bee and it didn't like it up my sniff pot!
    I also now have sunburn, I attended a Bedlington barbeque today(also known as a BB):lol:
    I am redder(is that a word?) tham a lobster:(

    I suffer from hayfever but not as much as my mam does and she has some nasal spray and them tablets !

    Its hell sometimes like - the tablets may make ya a little tired but they do the trick, i took them abroad a few years ago and they were spot on

    My pharmacy medicines - Piriteze allergy tablets help to relieve the symptoms of hayfever, pet or house dust mite allergies, skin allergies, rashes itching and urticaria (hives).
    Piriteze allergy tablets
    This medicine is available without prescription for you to treat a mild illness without a doctor's help. Nevertheless, you still need to use Piriteze allergy tablets carefully to get the best results from them.
    Keep this leaflet. You may need to read it again.
    Ask your pharmacist if you need more information or advice.
    You must see your doctor if your symptoms worsen or do not improve.

    Piriteze allergy tablets contain Cetirizine dihydrochloride as the active ingredient. They also contain microcrystalline cellulose, lactose, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, macrogol, titanium dioxide (E171) and polydextrose.

    Piriteze allergy tablets are distributed by: GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, Brentford, TW8 9GS, U.K. and all enquiries should be sent to this address.
    The Marketing Authorisation holder and company responsible for manufacture:
    Approved Prescription Services Ltd., Eastbourne, BN22 9AG England.

    1 What these tablets are and what they are used for
    Each film-coated tablet contains 10 mg of Cetirizine dihydrochloride. Cetirizine belongs to a group of drugs called antihistamines which help to relieve the symptoms of some allergies. The product is available in packs of 7 or 30 tablets (packs containing 30 tablets are only available from your pharmacist).

    Your medicine is used to relieve the symptoms of hayfever, non-seasonal rhinitis (runny and itchy nose and other allergies e.g. pet or house dust mite allergies. It can also be taken for skin allergies such as rash, itching and urticaria (hives).

    2 Before you take these tablets
    Do not take these tablets if you:
    Are allergic to any of the ingredients in your medicine.
    Take special care with this product if you have:
    Kidney problems.
    Taking this medicine with food and drink:
    As with other antihistamines, it is advisable to avoid drinking large amounts of alcohol whilst taking these tablets.
    Pregnancy and Breast-feeding:
    These tablets are not recommended if you are pregnant.
    Do not take if you are breast-feeding.
    Driving and using machines:
    Do not exceed the recommended dose.

    3 How to take these tablets
    If you do not understand these instructions, or if you require any further information about your medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

    The tablets should be swallowed with a drink of water.
    Adults (including the elderly) and children 12 years and over: One tablet (10mg) daily
    Children under 12 years: not recommended.
    If you have any kidney problems, You should only take half the recommended dose.
    Do not take more than the recommended dose.
    If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.

    If you take more tablets than you should: If you (or someone else) swallow a lot of the tablets all together, or if you think a child has accidentally swallowed any of the tablets, contact your nearest hospital casualty department or-your doctor immediately. Take these tablets with you so that the doctor can see what has been taken.

    Overdose can cause drowsiness. In children, agitation may occur.

    If you forget to take Piriteze allergy tablets: If you forget to take a tablet, take one as soon as you remember, unless it is nearly time to take the next one. Never take two doses together. Take the remaining doses at the correct time.

    4 Possible side effects
    Like all medicines, these tablets can have side effects occasionally.

    Tell your doctor if you notice any of the following:
    Headache
    Dizziness
    Agitation
    Dry mouth
    Drowsiness
    Stomach or intestinal discomfort

    These are all temporary, mild side effects of this medicine.
    Very rarely, these tablets may cause convulsions. If this happens to you, stop taking these tablets and tell your doctor.
    If you notice any side effects not mentioned in this leaflet, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

    5 Storing your medicine
    Do not transfer to another container. Do not use these tablets after the expiry date shown on the outer packaging.
    Keep out of the reach and sight of children. If you notice any defects or signs of deterioration in the tablets (such as broken tablets), please consult your pharmacist. Return all unused medicines to your pharmacist for safe disposal.

    Nee bother mate - i know what its like myself, its pissing off when ya eyes water all the time and ya nose is blocked up but ya dont have a cold !

    I suffer from hayfever really badly.

    Used to take Zirtek on prescription, they were wuite good (plus doc used ot prescribe 90 at a time!) but taking Cetirizine now (also prescription), they're excellent.

    ive got hayfever as well, the eye drops and nasel spray do me fine tho.

    if ure hayfever gets any worse the go to the docs and ask for fexofenadine!
    i got to use both of them coz i suffer pretty bad!:(
    for ya sunburn put some caromile lotion on!

    My sunburn is ok today, the piritin worked fine but it knocked me out coz I was pissed when I took them:)

    hayfever is awful. i use a nasal spray it normally does the trick.
