Howdy! Right, I'll start by introducing myself....My names David, I'm 21 and I'm from Sunny Durham...where the men are men, the women are men and the sheep are frisky! Been browsing the message boards quite a bit recently just to try and keep in touch with what is happening around the North East in general. Anyway, I was thinking on Friday I may go to Quality! Just have a few questions though as I've never been to Foundation before.....haven't actually got a clue where it is even after looking at the map, should be an adventure in itself even getting there. I was basically hoping that some of you may be able to help out with my questions. One of the main things I'm thinking of is dress code? Does the place have a dress code? Would I be able to turn up in say combat pants/jeans and trainers...and still be allowed entrance? And...say I did go dressed as mentioned, are there any bars in Newcastle that are likely to let me in before heading towards Foundation? What time do the doors open and what time would be a reasonable time to go to avoid queueing, but also to avoid being the only souls in? Cheers for any help guys! Btw, the line-up for the night looks forking immense!!
Hello and welcome m8. The clothes that you mentioned should be fine for Quality. The dress-code aint too strict tbh. Vuzz at Egypt Cottage is the official warm up and a good place to go for good music. hope this helps Jimmy
Bars such as the wetherspoons pub over the road from central station will let you in if you want a cheap drink, etc or yates wine bar. to get ther, you could get a taxi, which will cost you about 3 quid, just so you donĀ“t get lost or walk straight down from central station to the roundabout at the tyne bridge and walk straight over that towards the law courts and you should be able to see it from the roundabout.
aha! Forgot about Wetherspoons, might try there I suppose! What time would you reccommend heading over to Foundation?
Hodge you cunt! Long time no speak! Glad you eventually decided to sign up to this board! Jim/Mik - Think I've told you about Hodge before, he's a quality Hard Dance DJ. Definately a future prospect for Twisted
Yeah, i think u mentioned him Alex. Hodge - Do me a mix if u want to play at Twisted Logic, I'll pm u my address. Nice site too matey
Hellow studly! Hows things mate? Back from Iibiza yet? Hows all that going? Wish you'd stop bigging me up to people....you know I'm the shy, retiring sort of dj!
Yeah got back on Weds night, going back out around Weds. It's goin alright, Amy's just got the Garlands residency on the terrace! Shush you tit, you should be playing out!
I went, I saw, I was impressed...seriously impressed. Think Tiserra may just have been starting as I left, but couldn't really help it due to the fact that I either got a train at 2.10am or 4.35am so I opted for the former. Many thanks to all those friendly people for making me feel welcome tonight, those who actually directed me to the club and especially some geezer from Durham way....you were a top bloke! Good laugh was had by myself and my mate thanks to you, and that was just in the queue!! Really wish I'd stayed till the end but still had a great night. Wasn't really in the mood for dancing, until beatbox came on and then I was like a man possessed! Will most definitely be making a return journey some time soon! Certainly opened my eyes to the "Quality" *cough cough* that is out there if you look hard enough!
