emerson/woolford at shindig twas a good night not rammed, but nicely busy. really liked paul woolfords set, got things warmed up nicely for emerson his set was really good, not the best ive heard him play, but good nonetheless met him afterwards as well, such a nice bloke! roll on deep dish
Why did you miss it? You have posted a few things about Woolford, I thought you would have been well up for this.
he was good he dropped get your dub on and french kiss, which always goes down well would like to see him back at the dig
F'Koff you cunt  Nah I couldn't go out at all on Saturday, had to do big fuckin family meal thing cos my Aunt & Uncle were down from Scotland  Meant I had to miss Resistance too
Was another good night. It's always quite busy - nearly always can go upstairs. Liked the version of Born Slippy Emerson dropped near the end. He's got a good presence on the dex
What was this version like? Picked up a version on White in Ibiza that I've never heard or heard of before
allie is a total internet clubber! he posts loads of stuff on what dj's to book etc etc. but hardly ever goes out! bit annoying given how much advice and house propaganda he spreads. he probs goes out the least out of anyone.
When do I post on what DJs to book? If there was actually anything that was, in my opinion, worth going to in Newcastle, I would go to it, and do, when the situation arises
It was a housier version but still had the breakdown. Probably one he knocked up in the studio - he did make the tune after all
you what?!! you're forever naming all these djs no cunt has ever heard of insisting that such and such a club should book them! http://www.promisealways.com/messages/showthread.php?s=&threadid=14527&perpage=15&pagenumber=1 have you ever even been to shindig/promise or any club?!!
Nope. In all honesty I sit in the house all the time, never go out, I'm too scared of people. Especially big mean ones like you who get so serious and so argumentative over a messageboard I never tell any fucker to book 'em, I just say they're good. Free country innit? Maybe with a little more education into the world of music you would've heard of 'em
He is okay, the 2nd time I went to Ibiza was his first year @ Del Mar after Del Mar got rid of the legend Jose Padilia(spelling). I always find it hard to get into a Del Mar sunset set, I prefer sitting inside Mambo or chilling @ Kanya.
Yeah wish I'd have been able to see Padilla Del Mar sunsets are very hard to get into, due to Savannah (I think it's Savannah) next door. Can hear the Del Mar Chillout in one ear, then whatever shite they choose to put on in the other Mambo is a nicer bar, Del Mar looks like an ice cream parlour
He does a few gigs in some small places, keep your eyes peeled when your back over there. I tend not buy any drinks from Mambo unless there is barman working there who I know. I always buy my drinks from the cafe just up from Savannah then drink them on the beach. Also look out for Newcastle's very own Steve Butler my pal is a manager @ Revoultion & she says he is out there playing midwek.
