The characters provoke little sympathy or empathy in me because they are almost universally _incredibly_ thick. The plotting is a one-trick-pony of unsubtle misdirection, painting people as good or bad before revealing them to be the opposite about 6 episodes later on. The overall effect is a poorly-acted murder-mystery where the deductions and denouements throughout the series come as an inexplicable rollercoaster of implausibility. Then again, if you want mindless entertainment with a very simple portrayal of political/intelligence manipulations this might be for you. Quality drama this ain't. ' How anyone can not like 24 is beyond me!

tried watchin it a few times and nah, i cudnt get into it either....heard a lot of good things about it tho....
