    Murder in local shop

This may be old news to some of you, but as I dont watch/read the local news as often as a used to.

The story goes a little like this.
Last week sometime a lad was in a local shop in Byker buying whatever.

In walks a charva called Flecks in a bit of a bad mood. The lad who was walking out after buying something must have made eye contact with him and the lad Flecks say "Dont look at me like that or I'll stab ya"
The other kid seems to have reacted in a "I whatever" sort of way.
So what did this Flecks do...stab him in the neck.
The other kid says "I'm dying"
So this Flecks replies with a "Really" and stabs him six more times.

I dont about anyone else but this really does scare the hell outta me.
God knows what the lads mother is going through. I'd rather be dead if that happened to my son/daughter.

Has anyone else been in a similar situatuin where charvas have threatened and done/not done anything?

    Your joking.

I do know what you mean though, there fearless and there's nothing you can do if a young charva (whatever size) has a big blade. It's no competition.

You can't live in fear though - it's a fine line but I would always try and ignore people and if you have to - avoid eye contact.

I always keep myself to myself and I'm reasonably streetwise. It's sad.

A mate was on the last metro home from the coast a couple of years ago when about 15 charvas got on the back carridge. They proceeded to run riot around the carridge hitting passengers and spitting on them. My mate was sitting at the back of the first carrdige so saw everything. At monkseaton some guy crawled off the metro with his face covered in blood.... my mate refused to use the metro for a good while after that.

i hate the metro like, its full of little tossers and so are the metro stations

CCTV is being installed more and more but will that really stop drunken twa*s from doin this?

I was told from Fitzy that the camera's are the little black squares in the fire extinguisher signs.

    Is that right?

I can only presume the cameras will make people feel a little more secure.

However it doesnt cut that tension and general ill feeling when you're on your own going through the North Shields area, eh Fitzy !

We live in a concequence free environment these days - What should have happened is that as soon as these 15 lads or whatever we're reported, there should have been security video's circulated immediately and at least one of the little shoites tracked down - Give him a choice of being shopped for 5 years, or only 2 years if he names and shames his mates.

Whatever happened to "zero tolerance" policing eh - what a joke.

Damn shame about that kid like, ive been on the end of the "you looking at me" thing a few times in my life - but never had it get to that point.... terrible shit :(

so who do we put the blame on to for creating such vagabonds in the world today.

My view is that it is all down to the parents. They dont look after, they dont nurture and they sure as hell dont educate them.

They have nothing to live for and a life of benfits is suficient, how sad.

which one? there are 2 lads mentioned in that
  12. Guest

aye but only some metros have them, you can see them when they do there not tiny little things in the pic of the fire extinguisher they are quite visible

i meant theres more cams at the stations, them ones mounted on the HUGE poles overlooking the stations, after all theres a shit load of crime in and around the stations too

    like your phone cameron

Down where i live (landan town area) theres even videocamera's on the buses - im assuming they still arent fitted on the ones in newcastle.

Apart from that - what ever happened to the metro staff that were supposed to be "helping" people a while back - stick a few of those on each service would make people feel a hell of a lot safer... but that leaves the stations, and i know a number of them up north would make mike tyson fearful for his life.

im 27 and my view is that kids just arent brought up they way we used to be and even if they are brought up properly they mix with the wrong kinds at school and end up being led astray.

Another thing is that there are a lot more family's these days that are worse off than others and these kids tend to be the bad ones , like for example your dads job being a burglar/shoplifter dosent give u much to look forward to in life , ambitions etc are out the window straight away .

Ive seen kids , young kids at that shouting and swearing at their parents as if it is normal behaviour , when i was a kid i would of got a good clip for doing anything like that !!

Its a shame but the world really is in a mess !!!

    ...fidds..:( :( :(

For an outsider where should be avoided ... I worry about my missus as she's new down here and doesn't know the area that will. I probably don't myself well enough.
