    How do rugby players slide so well on the grass?



    oh and why no grass stains?

    before the games.. the pitch is sprinkled with water which is probably why !

    remember theyre all about 20 stone and chargin at ya 30 mph !

    your gonna slide a canny way if this is the case !

    but no friction burn or grass stains?

    It was that bit that i couldn't grasp.

    Richie said it was cos the pitch must have been wet, but it cant rain everytime theres rugby on!

    there shirts and shorts are made of special material too. so people cant grab hold of them...
