I thought Picotto was quite good,played some decent techno tunes at points of his set. Did have to drop the pace a bit at first.didn;t think Richard Tulip warmed up very well for him. Was expecting him to play a bit deeper to set the scene for Picotto but rushed in straight away with hard trance.Wasn't impressed. There doesn't seem to be much flow of the night at Promise these days,just loads of DJs playing seperate sets which don't really go together very well.

I was well disappointed with Picotto, but Shan! boomboomboomboom!!!! I needed that!

Soz for talking REALLY LOUD last night - I was hyperhyper (and soz to fiddla for asking your name about ten times ). Hi again to everyone else I met!

Id say last months was better meself. We had a Tulip prog warm-up, and we had Matt (nuff said). Also even Eddie kept it interesting right till the end!

One thing that spoilt Friday a bit for me, was them kicking us out of the backroom at 315. Pete Robinson was down to play 2-4. The bouncers walked up to him at 310 and said last tune. So were all kicked out.

Yea he is mate, he plays it quite regularly. If u go to Tall Trees for Goodgreef on the 15th - he'll be playing hard house along with the lovely Lisa Lashes, Mr Eddie Halliwell & K90.

Picotto played an absolute blinder. People who didnt like his set have no taste whatsoever!!!!

Evereyone else was good too. Dunno about Lee though cos I didnt get there til Adam Sheridan was on.

And it was nice to finally meet the lost boys!!!! Kinda freaks Hogg out when he hasnt a clue who people are and they approach him to say hello

Oh and it was great when the music went off and me and Karl got everyone chanting ' M A U R O P I C O T T O D J D J'

Even though it took Karl ages to remember what letters he had to say

a gud night had by all i thought? i was impressed with picotto thought he played some gud stuff.. liked it.. nice to hear something less 'bosh bosh bosh' for a change... think a trip to back sankeys might be in order.. heard a lot of ppl dissapointed cos he didnt play lizard/iguana etc.. 's

No worries...

Shan's last tune was in its final minutes. The music has to go off just after 4.00AM; that point is non-negotiable with the club. Then they have to get the punters out ASAP.

Shan played a good set and rocked it; he was not bothered at the give away at all. Those lucky enough to grab records will always remember how wicked Shan was, and at the end they got a free record.

Next time I'll make you stand there with a huge box and get mobbed mate!
