eeee god yeah i 4got bout that lol was havin a propa panic on for everyone there like!! twas a funny nite was friday did av a good time i think, mauro was betta than i expected missed adam(ski)'s lol doubt a certain person will be reading this to get that joke but neva mind!!) set was rather distraught bout that cos think the man is bloody excellent!! and shan-my god how good was he!! i've seen him a canny few times n hes bin nails which isnt reeli my cuppa tea but thought he was sooo good on friday like, a lot more melodic than usual!!! my sincere apologies to amy, hogg and jeff for me bin a pshyco on the way to jeffs i was wrecked n i dont appriciate walkin anywhere never mind in the friggin rain i was in such a mood with all the evil taxi drivers that didnt stop 4 us!! apologies again for me bin a moody bitch!! lol and everyone thought i was so sweet n nice !! good nite tho i think apart from a couple ov lil fings!! :evil: xxxx

Richards set was excellent and was just how it should have been for Mauro. Considering he played after Adam, if he had played deeper, just for you Tomas, it would have dropped the atmosphere like a sack of shit. Unless you are deaf, or too busy moaning at people about DJ’s music etc, did you not hear how he adjusted accordingly towards the end of his set for Mauro? Also, look at the way Mauro played, he dipped right down to an almost funky techno-esque section within his set, before ramping up again.

It’s a good job you don't run Promise Tomas because you really don't have a clue what you are going on about. You would be bankrupt within a few weeks.

You are entitled to an opinion, but for the record, Mark Deakin is quite capable of knowing how he wants the night to progress in terms of DJ’s who play and the styles they represent. And, as amazing and incredible as this might sound, we all know our places when it comes to how the evening should build.

Perhaps you should start going to Blu Bamboo or perhaps begin your own night and show us how it’s done.

Your mood cos of the rain had me amused!! Jeff wasnt too happy you were walking along the road on byker bridge tho!! I wasnt too happy about the rain but we'd have waited as long for a taxi as it took to get to jeff's and wouldve been just as wet

Richard's set had be quite amazed. Ive never heard a set like that from him before and it was really really good. It fitted in perfectly IMO.

Im sick of people saying they didnt like Fri night. It was one of my best nights at Promise, anyone who thinks otherwise has no taste!!

Hardly any mention of Adam Sheridan in the thread who was class IMO.
I missed Lee's set thru getting there late and missed Shan coz I got kicked out just before the end of Picotto's set.
Tulip played the best set of the night, best i've heard from him for a while!

Yeah Sheridan was mint! Glad to see him on the dance floor at the end too! Future Hero!

Vuzz was mint! Impressed!

Lee was class at the start, terrific warm up, I was on the dancefloor straight off!

Sheridan was class too, I remember going more hyper as I sank more Reef, and bopping about as usual...

Richards set was amazing , I think I started head-banging :bang: !

Picotto's set didn't move me at all, I'm not too sure why... I've heard much better sets off of him (IMHO - don't attack me)

And get Shan back to Promise ASAP! fan-tas-tic!!!

I also did lots of little wanderings upstairs, and did a bit of moving and grooving, but for some reason I always get funny looks off people in the Always room

All in all a well good night...

p.s. Fiddla - u do realise I WILL ask ur name again!?! nice 2 meet ya and Orbit, Crasherbiatch, Nass, others who I will remember in a coupla days when my brain works and all the other peeps I've met so far who all make Promise what it is - music, atmos, crowd, class!
