Worst DJ performance you have seen ?

Mine was just recently at the Southport weekender, the Masters At Work played the main room on the Saturday and where dreadful, totally killed the atmosphere and where basically just experimenting with stuff for themselves not playing to the crowd at all !

Probably Savers at the arches last year on boxing night. They were wrecked and playing a lot of pish not giving a fuck about the crowd.

Seaman was cancelled so they played before Seb Mundane and after him.

They were actually getting heckled from the crowd to get off the decks they were that bad. I was right in amongst it

Billy Nasty @ Newcastle Uni - reverb last year... all his mixes seemed shite and I was very disappointed in him. Supposedly there were no monitors (or shite ones) and he was pissed as fuck.

Seb Fontaine @ Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh for the essential mix last year... he was on after Sander Klienenberg (who was quality)then fat-boy fucked up almost every mix. I was standing wathcing him smiling and loving it... fiddling about on the mixer while the tune was going further and further out... it almost went so far out it was back in again.

Not really one of poor technical ability, but when John Digweed played Shindig in February, it just sounded like he was playing the same tune over, and over, and over again... :(

    Exactly.

That night was single-handedly responsible for me going completely off prog. Well, that and Wooly's DJMag CD ;)

should have heard the bloke at juski's wedding - shite!

makes me wish that I'd taken my cd folder along...

Jon Carter- when he's on form, he pulls out some blinding sets. Shame he's usually pissed/wrecked, and bollocks-up the majority of mixes.

I thought Digweed was pretty good that night and I know most people who I spoke to thought so too.

Howay Allie, surely you've seen a worse dj performance? Your just having a go at progressive house.

Angel Morale's at Shindig about 3 years ago - played the same song on 2 copies of vinyl for about 15-20 minutes looping between the two of them, wasnt progressive or anything worth the wait for......... Was only on the booze that night - so anyone with half their wits about them would have noticed this.

Was out the door less than an hour later, 30 quid lighter (me and the lass)....

It was a predictable response, I'm surprised he never said Morillo as well.

Didn't say it was a bad performance, obviously wasn't as a lot of people think he was good, I just thought everything sounded the same :p

Here's one - Aaron @ Cybertribe with his homemade Techno
