The layout was ridiculus!! Lights on full during the sets, Carpeted floors, charvas everywhere, dul prog in the background, Tom "ket head" Stephan and his bollocks records!!

Eddie Halliwell at Promise after Marco V last year.(Awaits slating)
Marco V played a real nice techy set and it would have been nice for Eddie to follow with some harder stuff(which was his style at the time), instead he played a really up and down trance set.
    I was less than impressed!

did you see the mock granny who you could go have a cup of tea & biscuits with! :(

total bollocks, i was furious by the time i left.

i spent the last hour stood infront of lee burridge making wanker signs at him and his mate, who seemed to find me quite amusing possibly due to me falling over several times whilst hurling my torrent of abuse. :king:

the only reason i could think for so many amazing dj's to be shit together is that they had been instructed to play in a certain way; really dull minimal stuff. the whole event seemed more about the ambience, the setting, the layout than about music.

    poor show from all involved.

I like it when house DJs do that with big tunes. Saw Choo Choo Romero do it with Everything but the Girl's Tracey in the Room.

In theory yes....... But at the time it was a right pain in the ass.

Cant see what could possibly be good about looping a boring track into an even longer boring track.......... On the other hand ive heard Sasha and Digweed do the same thing properly and it was incredible.

Actually, I remember Brandon Bloc playing at the shack 2-3 years ago aswell..... totally horrendus.

Aye - me and my lass were walking home from a club one night in town and saw him being carted out Legends... looking totally HAMMERED.

If i was a DJ i would be so concentrated on my JOB that i wouldnt be able to touch anything more than a cheeky bottle of beer - It amazes me to think some DJ's will get up to entertain thousands of people in states like that.

I think he's shit 9 out of 10 times, I've seen him play a couple of good sets but alot of them have no flow, its like he picks random records out of his box, scratches them a bit and then plays them most of the time:)
