Credit Rating Web Page??

    Credit Rating Web Page??

    Went to get a phone today, but I was declined by the credit company. I have no debts apart from credit cards, which I always pay on time, and my bank says I have a brilliant credit history, the main reason why they give me a Platinum card.

    I really can't understand how this has happened, I'm so pissed off.:evil:

    Anyways, I have been told there is a site on the internet where you can check your credit rating, and find out why I have been declined.

    Does anyone know of this site, etc?? Much appreciated in advance!!:D :evil:

    Yeah I know. My sis used to have a few debt problems, but she hasn't lived here for a while, plus I got my last phone no problem, and that was after her problems. My mam had also had no problems at all!!:confused:

    Tell me bout it. It's the only place that has the phone in that I want aswell, but even if other places did, I will probably get declined at those aswell!!:evil: :mad: :cry: :(

    You might be getting refused for the phone cause of:

    1. Someone at your address had credit problems in the past.
    2. You have no credit history with the phone company (t-mobile are right fuckers for doing this... avoid em)
    3. You arent on the electoral role for that address.
    4. You havent been at your current address for very long (moved in the past few years or something)
    6. You dont have a DEBT HISTORY.. this is when you have debts that you pay on time, or have paid off fully before... it counts FOR you if you have debts that you have paid off and stuff before.

    Hope this helps.... i know theres a postal thing where you can get your credit history for 3 quid or something - Its quite scary the kind of stuff you see on it - I put my name on it when i moved into a new place and it detailed everything my parents and brother owed in mortgages and stuff, including balances and other private stuff :evil:

    if your sis is still living at your address, and has had problems, it will be marked on that address, which means because your living at that address it goes against you (cos of her!!) - one of the reasons my mother kicked off with me when i had debt collectors after me at her address cos she couldnt get credit anymore if i didnt pay them ... luckily i did!!

    The previous answers regarding electroral role and time at address etc. are all very valid, but if you want to check your credit history the two largest agencies are Experian and Equifax

    Nah not she's not Fizz. I do know of this though. She has just fucked off back to London aswell, so I can't smack her because of it. Plus she owes me £20!! She's on a fucking mass salary aswell!!:evil: :mad: :lol: :D

    The thing is though is that my pac number runs out tomorrow (the thing to keep my same number, incase people didn't know what that is), and it's the only place that has the phone in that I want. But I think my wonderful girlfriend is going to get it for me on her bank account tomorrow!!:D :love:

    im in kinda the same predicament , when i got my last fone i could only get it on o2 as the rest knocked me back , even offering to pay a deposit for the phone that was well over the odds they just wudnt do it , vodafone are cunts anyway used them b4 , when they want money off u they want it shit hot , but when they owe u they start saying things about the months not being right etc , fookin bullshit !!!

    o2 all the way !!!
