    Mixmag Shutdown.

Curent word on the street kiddies is that Mixmag is like, so over

an official announcement is expected soon. Surprised in that they were one of the few whose readership was fairly stable though if you've seen the state of the latest issue, I'm not surprised. Becoming more and more like Ministry by the day....

The magazine itself has been shit for a while now. Shame though because they do alot for up and coming Dj's and some of the cover CD's are good too:(

its absoloute toss - one of the letters was spot on when they said it was turning into loaded... i only buy it cos the cds usually have some interesting stuff on, but even theyve gone a bit wrong latley...

shame if it does go down the shitter cos it was once 'THE DOGS'

Thats a nightmare for nothing other than the free CDs.

They've had some amazing mixes done over the years.

 not even worth using as shit paper...

if ur gonna buy a pretentious, half baked meaningless magazine, with the intellectual content of a mr men book, written by a bunch of krazy cock slags who think its their place to tell people 'whats cool' - at least have some dignity and buy The Face... ;)

The Face?!?!?!?!!?!??!?!???!?!?!?! if i was in the dentists and that was there, along with 'Parenting Today', there'd be no hesatation to read about the new none spill baby shit scoop.

Major difference in opinion here like!;)

I buy Sleaze for the pics and fashion stuff. We had to buy it as part of our course, along with dazed and face, and I reckon Sleave is 100times better than both these two put together.

And what, may I ask, is wrong with Mr Men books? :p I have a small collection...

    Mr Clumsy
    Mr Perfect
    Mr Daydream
    Mr Mischief
    Mr Uppity
    Mr Skinny
    Mr Silly
    Mr Nosey
    Mr Mean
    Mr Fussy

I grew up with these books and I think you underestimate their intellectual content! :D

    they prefer 'Asian Times'*

    * before you all call me racist... I'm not, I was just suggesting that the vast majority of the residents of said location, tend to be of ethnic origin, and may thus prefer to read 'Asian Times'. (P4CKS would also like to point out that other Asian culture magazines are available from selected outlets)

Well, if it's true, I think it's a bit of a shame. Thought the Electro Trance and Bosh2 CD's of late were pretty shit hot. Mixmag futre hero's, well I can't see the downside to that. A lot of good, young talent getting the right kind of exposure.
