I dont think the future of dance music hinges on Ministry magazine.

People get there clubbing info on the net now which is much more up to date and accurate than any mag can be.

inclined to agree now I've done a bit more digging. Get the feeling EMAP have been getting things in order and somewhere along the line someone has taken it all the wrong way.

true what u say about post-Ministry, dance music may have scaled down a bit but it's never been stronger

I bought Mixmag last week after winning 4 pounds at the Woking train station fruit machine (after crashing my car)... the drugs article looked like a laugh.

That Pete tong cd was horrific i gotta say - totally shoite IMHO.

The whole magazine is resembling a tri hard version of loaded,..... any time you see bare breasts in a magazine you gotta think eh.

The only highlight was them tipping Infusion as being a big thing this year - although the mix of the track they put on the cover CD of "girls can be cruel" was utterly horrific. The proggy version that Seaman plays on his TLV set is by far the most amazing one - nearest thing you come to buzzing without any drugs :)

When the editor says things like: -

"I do indeed have an ace job with a nice salary and if and when I do decide to leave Mixmag it'll be to a bigger magazine that pays even more ludicrous wedges of dosh for recycling ideas from messagebaords into magazines."

You have to ask who the fuck gave him the job in the first place!

It doesnt really bother me so much... i only occasionally get it if the cd appears to be good, and the mag itself is fairly inoffensive... as people have said, nothing too intellectual, bit stupid but an adequate time passer. it sells a lot and occasionally raises decent points...

i dont think it'll be going anywhere soon, as much as people slate it it sells plenty...
