I was thick as fuck when i was little !

Couldnt read or write up to a certain age end even then if it wasnt for my aunty being a teacher i probs would of stayed like that for a long long time !

With her being a teacher i used to have read about 10 books a night from that age group for a period of time, if i didnt read 10 or so a night id have to read double the next night - same goes for writing !

    Suppose its worked really :D

    *looks at spelling etc*

Choose ur own adventure books were class. As were the Knightmare books!

Roald Dahl was :king: tho. BFG was probably best. The Twits was good too.

Chronicles of Narnia and Point Horror as well!

First ever book at school was called 'Look'. It just had the word 'look' on every page! :spangled:

My brother read "choose your own adventure" books - whereas i was more of a "fighting fantasy" kind of man myself... at the tender age of 8-9 :)

Used to read chemistry books and wierd shit when i was a kid... always good for making home made gunpowder and stuff :)

Errr...have people forgot MR MEN???? Sorry but the best series of books ever made....ever!! My avatar of the bird is from the book "Mr Skinny" which I scanned and 'enhanced' cos it made me laugh  I have a small collection of Mr Men books, I love them!! :D

    Oh and...
Funny Bones ("On a dark dark hill, in a dark dark street, in a dark dark house, up some dark dark stairs, along a dark dark corridor, lived 3 skeletons"...or something like that!)
Spot the Dog was cool too, I had Spot wallpaper, though decided to decorate over it last year! :D :p (Yes, it was a joke)
