helpppp!!...... ok i need ur guys help....... this summer im meant to be working for camp america. it'll look fab on me cv, since im doing teaching, nd ive paid all the dosh nd stuff i need to.....but dont find out where im placed till the end of may. a regulat who comes in my pub where i work, is best mates with the guy who owns nation in liverpool...who also owns amnesia in ibiza, nd said he can get me a job working there over the summer! what shud i do!!1??/?.....both i could also do nxt year??!! help man!!! xx

Isnt Amnesia owned by the spanish ?? My mate worked there last year and is this year, i would be careful of who you trust going that far ! I will ask him tonight who the club alreet The reason being cos Godskitchen lost there license over there to the Spanish cos they bought the rights when it was on - Gods wanted it back but they were quoted summit ridiculous
IMHO stick with camp america. 90% of people who say 'i can get you this' are full of shit anyway so its not worth it. And even if he can just do it the following year. Ibiza won't go but you might not get accepted back onto the camp david thing.

Agreed I'm doing Camp America too, and you shouldn't find out at the end of May where you've been placed, but a maximum of 4 weeks after you've sent off your Specialist Application Form (the one you get from the interviewer) and the Criminal Record Check form. I've just sent mine off on Wednesday so hopefully I'll be finding out in a couple of weeks or so exactly which camp I'll be going too DEFINATELY do Camp America, it'll be much much much more rewarding than working in Ibiza, and if you pull out of Camp America now you'll lose your deposit (if you've paid it yet)
My sister has her own house in Monaco and is dateing a Millionaire all because of contacts she made while looking after kids in Camp USA. All your likely to come back from Ibiza with is Chlamydia and a crack habit.
I'm doing Camp America not this summer but the summer after! I'd deffinately do that if i were you! Everyone who goes says its great, u'll deffo. get more out of it i reckon!
Have a look at going with BUNAC, they pay you more! The only reason I didn't go with them is that I needed to be back by 18th August, and they didn't finish til 21st August, so went with Camp America.

CAMP USA - teaching fat/obese kids how to kayak, cook brownies and pledging your allegiance to the flag on a daily basis sounds amazing :spangled: I'm just institutionalised by Ibiza though
I ticked the "NO" box on the form where it asked "Would you be willing to work on a weight-loss camp?" I also ticked no for religious camps, there is NO WAY I'm going to a camp full of Christian-crazy Americans! Or any other religion for that matter, I just want a nice normal camp thank you very much.
