    do you have lessons, or is it like, take your own rope kinda thing and get on with it yourself?

    I really fancy getting into that kinda stuff - but dont have a clue where i can do it:spangled:

    are u able to go on a sunday?

    Ken & I r alledgedly (sp) going to b goin gon a sun & he ideally wants 3 ppl there so 1 can climb whilst he teaches another to belay etc... & after may i'll b looking for a climbing partner!! :D

    we have been going to newton accliffe but i mite go to sunderland after may...

    At Sunderland you have to do a 3 hour (over 3 sessions) beginners course before you are allowed to climb without an instructor. The course is very basic, just teaches you the basics of safety etc.
