well, just got back from the bank, had a nice hour n a half meeting with them... had to get the fraud investigation squad involved, it seems they aint just done this, someones been fucking raping my account to death... ive cancelled every direct debit i have except my phone bill.

It seems the £508 was an online purchase of an O2 phone, so someone got my stuff online. there also appears to be roughly £200 'missing' from somewhere, so it looks like that wasnt all the fun they had.

im hoping i can get this sorted, ive had to transfer every fucking penny i own into that account so that i can pay my phone bill when it comes in.

spud aint a happy chap. but, im expecting a phone call from the fraud people - and i have to go through all my income / expenditure with the bank on another date, and then it's in the hands of the the investigators. i hope they catch them, and string them up by their fucking bollocks.

looks like spud aint going out for quite some time.

Do you use internet banking? AS the problems can occur from there, or do you order stuff online?

You should set your bank account up so u can use telephone banking, then youcan check your account as often as you like and it wil ltell yo what transactions has come in and gone out.

I wouldnt trust internet banking too many hackers!!!

As far as I know Spud wasnt rich so he wouldnt be after he got it back (unless theres something he's hiding from us) :D

Spud, did ur bank not give you the funds back straight away??? :spangled: Me & *Missy* worked for Abbey and they gave the funds back asap, THEN sorted it out. :)

Internet banking should be pretty secure as Im under the impression that most banks offer a guaruntee if anything does happen. In at least 3yrs (since it started) at Abbey, there hadnt been one fraudulent 'mishap' thru their system. All of them shud be the same tbh.:)

You shud always read thru ur statements tho!! :tut: :D Gud luck hun x
