    Settle an argument...

Right me and my mate at work have been having a disucssion all day wel a debate! Me argueeing for a change!"

We were talking about immigrants and homeless people!

I dont think immigrants should be let into our county to an extent! In a way yeah they should thats fine but they get homes before Homeless people do as they have no registered address?

I dont see how that works! However correct me if Im wrong as I am not that clued up about this I admit that! Thats why Im posting this thread to get OPINIONS remember as everyone has a different one!

So please feel free to let your opinions flow..and FACTS if can get them!

It was pointed out this morning that decent, "legit" immigrants imrove our economy and if anything, they provide the country with cheap workhouse labour that is exploited by large companies to sweep our floors, flip our burgers, deliver our pizza's .... this in turn generates more and more money into the economy as these people in turn spend their money within our country and create and maintain jobs for other people (or "us" depending on your philosophy)

The only problems we have here are government policy, not the people themselves - if homeless people are getting second fiddle then its either that person's, or the governments fault they are - its not the immigrant/assylum seeker's..... its not a tit for tat system where if some romanian immigrant gets given a house, then a homeless white person gets refused something....

... as always, it a horrendus situation we have where governments can turn hatred on essentially innocent and scared people who want something more for themselves, instead of upon themselves where the responsibility for what happens to this country lies.

My gran (bless her soul) was very racist and used to say they should all be shot or made to swim home! not my opinion... i just think if they want to stay here they should work and not expect to live on state handouts... if they won't work then they can fuck off!!!

Most homeless people have much deeper problems than their lack off address. If given a home they will often lose it again due to addiction, mental illness etc.
