Mine was when pvd cancelled and Matt Hardwick played .... did i need any more convincing to return ??? NO

twas quite a while ago!! but used to go to the dig more!! but i remember sitting upstairs in the dark seats listening to the dirty dark prog!!

so i know it was when promise went through the ex proggy phase could have been feb/march last yr!

yeah i remember now i started going when it was very proggy i think one of my first times @ promise (possibly the second or third time there) was when sander k was supposed to play.

yup! wen it 1st opened n was dead empty!

My first time was quite a while ago. I remember we'd read and heard that Timo Maas was supposed to be on, but turned out it was Slacker and Matt Hardwick. I remember Matt Hardwick playing Phat Planet too, kinda made the night well early on.

My first was when Jules played last dec, and this was b4 i had heard of Matt Hardwick, so after Jules finished, me and mates were like whos this crap?? Ten minutes, I was having the best time of my life, was amazing!!

Aye! I remember many a time me an lisa would be two of the only 20 ppl dancin, a bit messy at 2am thinkin we had an hour left when they shut early cos it was too quiet! Can make u paranoid when the bouncers start lining up around the dancefloor ready to kick u out!

oh shit i totally forgot about that one that could very well be one of my best nites at promise!! i rememebr sitting upstairs spangled and then all of a sudden stanley came on!! awwww memories!!

does any1 have the jules set on tape!! i was at my friends party like bout a yr ago and some1 was going to lend me it but forgot to get it off them!!

grrrrr that set was almost as good as jules @ qontact!!

i remember that, when u played stanley, and superstrings!! had bits of the set on comp, but it never finished downloading it but got Jules at Qontact, one of my favorite sets anywhere!!!

Same as Pilly Phil, last year - got stood up - stumbled into promise on my tod and been back every other week since!

Jules was fucking shite that night thank god for Hardwick,jules looked totally dis-interested

My first time was back September 2000 timish!!! When Jayne (Messy) and Helz (Ladybird - retired Promise clubbess) eventually persuaded me to go!!! Put it off and off for ages but then finally went (think it was John Kelly night?!?! not sure) and loved it!!!! Thought to myself finally, somewhere in Newcastle worth going!!!!

i cant remember when it was...but max graham, matt hardwick and guy ornadel were on.

matty played kosheen when hardly anyone knew what it was, and guy ornadel played a really good trancy set, bordering on cheese but it had everyone smiling..(ratty-sunrise, marc e claude-loving you, science of rhythm-work, firewire and all that!!)

Yeah Matt came on and pissed all over the judge (not literally, would have been good though), most of the Jules followers had left by then so there was loads of room on the floor, class night.

Lee, ive got a copy on tape, i'll have to dig it out for u, not the full set as the tape ran out before the end, but its got stanly on and miss shiva.

Think that was the first night i met u Lee, remember our little after party under the subway at Swan House round about after we had tried to blag some hotel rooms cos we had no where to go...
